US Department of Energy Funding for NNMREC Test Facility Cleared

On Wednesday, August 15, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) issued a Final Environmental Assessment (EA) for its funding of the Northwest National Marine Renewable Energy Center’s (NNMREC) ocean test facility. In addition to authorizing the DOE funding, issuance of the Final EA marks the conclusion of the regulatory process for NNMREC’s ocean test site.
